We’re jammin’

Indie Vault is back, and it decided to celebrate the website and forum reboot with a jam with a loosely Italian theme, as they say on the Jam webpage.

Every respectable italian man (and many women too) has grown up with classics like The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, They Call Me TrinityA Fistful of Dollars and so on.
I couldn’t miss the chance of being part of such a great event!

I’ve made a call for participants and got a very positive response by two developers I have an high consideration of. My mind was like “JACKPOT!”.

Well, it’s not exactly what you would call jackpot, since I’ve discovered that jam the same day it started, which makes me about 24 hours late, but yeah, whatever.

Like everything that really matters, the first step was a midnight Skype call, because incredibly reliable studies revealed that our brain is more creative at night (I don’t really know, it’s just to make me feel less slacker for not doing anything during daytime).

The awesome team I’m working with is made by Danilo Catalano (Unity 3D programming and game design), Livio Sgarlata (3D modeling and animation) and Erik Barrago (3D modeling).

Our tools are Git for revision control, Dropbox to submit graphics to the programmers and Google Documents to keep track of assets lists, style document and design document.

Now, if you please, I’m going to take a quick nap before starting to work on the real thing.
